Pricing varies considerably depending on the package you invest in and the type of photo session you are seeking. We are a truly custom studio and will work with you to create the best package for you and within most budgets.
Portrait sessions begin at $150 for the session fee, which covers a consultation session, photo session, and viewing/ordering session. See our senior pictures page to learn more about those packages. At the ordering session, you may choose to invest in items a-la-carte or from our “Create A Package” format where you are able to decide specifically what goes into your package. In this setup, you must choose at least one fine art item and one style of digital negatives: low resolution or high resolution. Fine art items include large scale prints, prints directly onto metal, acrylic prints, archival grade canvases, or albums. Pricing of the individual items is subject to change according to our lab partner’s price lists.
Event pricing begins at $500 and includes all of the edited digital files and up to four hours of service. Albums and prints are available separately.
Weddings are divided into three distinct packages offering luxurious items not available elsewhere. Pricing for weddings begins at $1,199 and includes an engagement session, wedding coverage, and beautiful album, among other items.

Why Is Photography So Expensive?
There are several different main groups of photographers: hobbyists, national chains, and boutiques. Hobbyists are usually willing to take some pictures and turn them over to you for a few dollars. The problem with this is that you are left with digital files of lower quality and forced to find your own products. National chains or big box stores are focused on one thing: volume. In other words, you are just a number. Their prices are lower for a couple reasons. First, most of them do not hire professional photographers.
In 2015, I saw an advertisement for a local branch of a national chain studio that was seeking to hire a photographer–no experience required. There is a big difference between being a photographer and having an interest in taking pictures. The other reason they are less expensive is because they cram a large volume of sessions into the work day and spend very little time with each client. They can afford to charge less because they have so many clients.
Kyle Rinker Photography is a boutique style studio. This means we hold ourselves to higher standards than others and can be considered truly professional. We do not stop experimenting and learning. We pride ourselves on seeking continued education and routinely take time out of our schedule for further development. We walk you through the entire photo experience, from the time you first contact the studio, to the initial consultation, photo session, and viewing/ordering session. The communication with our studio is endless, personable, and professional. We also have access to the hottest and newest products on the market–something that sets us apart from most studios. We want you to not only enjoy your photo experience, but also create a family heirloom to be passed down to other generations. We don’t take pictures. We create individual, one-of-a kind pieces of art. Why do we provide all of these services? Because we feel it is our professional obligation. You wouldn’t expect to go to the local coffee shop and be given coffee beans, a grinder, cup, and syrup to make your own latte! We provide the highest level of customer service because you deserve it.
